As Requestor ... how do I close a request for information when Requestee sends file directly to me and I uploaded them into Workiva?
Greetings,
I sent out a request to the Assignee for evidence. The Assignee sent the evidence to me directly outside of Workiva. I am able to upload the files into the request, but I am unable to close the request. Suggestions?

I have seen similar cases. So far, I attached the evidence directly in the test form, noted in the Markup Viewer that I received the documents by mail and deleted the request. Any other smart solution is welcome.

I reached out to our feature expert team about this to get some answers for you. There seems to be two options for you when this happens.
You can delete the request as Udo suggested or you can reassign it to yourself and upload the file to complete the request.
