Read out loud feature in documents
It would be helpful to have a read out loud option in the documents to aide with the review process. Is this something that is in the pipeline?

Yes, agreed. I often copy the content into Word so that I can have it read to me for proofing purposes.

At this time, Workiva doesn't have plans to build a feature to read documents out loud; however, Workiva (and our courses on the Learning Hub) is compatible with screen reader browser extensions. We have ongoing initiatives to improve our functionality with screen readers as part of our dedication to WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

Hi Liz Walters, please also register my interest for a read aloud option in Document files. I have tried the Read Aloud function in Microsoft Edge for this but it just reads the Workiva menus and does not continue to read the Document itself. It would be an excellent feature to aide proofreading to add Read Aloud capabilities to Documents and would add to the accessibility of the tool for people that find it hard to read large bodies of text. Thank you.
