Graphics for Proxy filing
What is the best method for inserting an Adobe Illustrator 300 dpi graphic into a proxy filing so that the graphic appears in Workiva with a high resolution? I have tried cmyk, converting to RGB, etc. with no luck. It is high resolution outside of Workiva, but not after inserting it into Workiva.

Hi Anna,
Thanks for your question! For images in Workiva, you will definitely want to use the RBG colorspace. It is important to keep in mind that the SEC will only accept filings with images that are GIFs or JPEGs. Depending on the composition on your image, the best image type will vary. If your image is line art and/or less than 256 colors total, GIF will be the best choice for image quality. Otherwise, save it to JPEG with as little compression as possible.
Since this image will be displayed digitally and not in print, it is more important to consider the size/pixels of the image over dpi. It is recommended to have your image less than 1600 pixels wide and/or 1000 pixels tall.
If you are still looking for something higher quality after trying these tips, you are allowed to attach a print-ready PDF as a courtesy copy in your proxy, as well. So that is an avenue to consider before trying to blow out the web/HTML version.
Hope these tips help! Let us know if you have any other questions, and good luck with your filing :)
Cheers!
Liz
