Once an assignee submits a task for you to approve, it will show up in your list of tasks in Home and you’ll receive an email notification.
After reviewing the assignee’s task completion, you can choose to approve it or return it to the assignee to make changes.
Approve a task
To approve a task:
- Click the Task icon to open the Tasks panel.
- Select the task that needs approval.
- If you approve, click Approve in the right panel.
The task is now complete.
Return a task
To return a task:
- Click the Task icon to open the Tasks panel.
- Select the task that you want to return.
- Click Return in the right panel.
The task goes back to the assignee to make the required changes. If there are multiple assignees on the task, all assignees will be notified and the task will again appear in their list of tasks to complete. Once the assignee makes their changes, they’ll submit the task again for your approval.
