In the project settings, you can rename the project, view the project details, and manage who has access to the project.
Requirements
- Your workspace must have the Multi-Entity Reporting (MER) Advanced, Fund Reporting Suite, or Insurance Suite solution enabled.
- To manage the project settings, you must have Project manager or Own project and reports permissions.
Open project settings
From the project dashboard, click Settings to open the Project settings panel.
Edit the project name
To edit the project name, update the text in the Project name field. The new project name will save automatically when you finish.
Note: Project names must be unique across your workspace.
View project details
The Project details section shows the details that are inherited from the reporting obligation in Business Data at the organization level (with the exception of the reporting period, which is set at project creation). If you need to edit these values, you must do so in Business Data. These latest values will then be pulled when you create a new project.
Manage project permissions
In the Permissions section, you can control who has access to the project and what they can do. See Understanding project and report permissions for more details about project and report permissions.
- To add new users to the project, select a user or group, select the permission that you’d like to give them, and then click Add.
- To change an existing user’s permissions, open the dropdown next to that user and select a different permission. You can also remove that user from the project by clicking Remove from project.
-
To change who has Project manager permissions, open the dropdown next to the new user and select Project manager. Once you assign the new project manager, then you can change the previous project manager’s permissions or remove them from the project.
Note: There can only be one project manager in a project at any given time.
