Classic GRC
Create action plans from issues with View permissions
You can now create an action plan from the issue form if you have View permissions for the issue and the Create Action Plan ability. Before, the Create Action Plan button was unavailable on the issue form with View permissions, even though you could already create action plans from Remediation and link them to any issue. The button is now enabled, so it works the same way in both places.
No permissions changed. The button now follows your existing ability to create action plans.

Control descriptions now up to 5x longer
Limits on control description length have been increased to approximately 10,000 characters.

Workiva AI
Preferred AI Provider setting moved to Workiva AI Companion
The Preferred AI Provider setting is now in Workiva AI instead of your user profile settings, so it’s easier to reach while you work. To find it, open Workiva AI, then select Settings from its menu. Your current choice is already selected, and you can choose from the providers your organization has enabled.
If you haven’t chosen a provider, Workiva AI uses the first one your organization has enabled. Workiva AI uses your preferred provider for chat. Some features, such as workflows, may use a different model. This change applies to all organizations with Workiva AI enabled, in all regions.
