Cross-workspace copy now offers option to maintain permissions

When copying content (e.g. files or folders) to another workspace within the same Organization, you can choose to maintain those permissions in the copy. Selecting Copy permissions from the source workspace applies the same level of permissions for any users that are in both the Source Workspace and Destination Workspaces.

Constraints

• No other cross-workspace behaviors change with this addition.
• The copied file or folder is a separate instance, and has no links to the original file or folder.
• Any users not in the Destination Workspace are ignored; they are not added nor granted permission.
• Group permissioning is not available. 
• The person making the copy becomes the sole owner in the Destination Workspace. They can then choose to manually open up permissions to the appropriate groups after the copy. 
• Only workspace owners with viewer permission to all the relevant content are able to kick off cross-workspace copies otherwise known as "moves".

Sustainability

Create a CDP Questionnaire tailored to your 2026 submission

From Sustainability Explorer, you can now create a CDP Questionnaire tailored to your 2026 submission with CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project). From the Questionnaire, you can collaborate with other members of your workspace to prepare responses for 2026 CDP disclosures:

• Review CDP's guidance for each question, including response options and scoring criteria.
• Identify related metrics in Sustainability Program and access values collected for responses.
• Discuss questions' responses and guidance with collaborators as comments.
• Set status of questions to track progress or indicate intentional omissions.
• Set permissions to the Questionnaire and its modules to ensure appropriate collaborator access.

When questions are ready, Questionnaire Owners can update the corresponding responses and status in the CDP Portal, directly from your workspace's CDP Questionnaire.

To get started:

1. Set up your 2026 submission in the CDP Portal.

2. Click Create questionnaire in Sustainability Explorer.
   The Questionnaire automatically includes your company's 2026 questions and responses from the CDP Portal.

   Tip: If this is your company's first year using the CDP Questionnaire in Sustainability Explorer, add "Workiva" as your software provider in the CDP Portal to generate the CDP API ID needed to create your company's Questionnaire.
