Carbon

New: Control who can edit configurations for categories
You can now choose whether team members with custom roles can edit entries, configurations, or both.
New: "Fuel & Energy Related Activities (FERA)" extension calculator now available
To calculate your well-to-tank (WTT) emissions from purchased fuels and purchased energy, contact your Workiva Carbon point of contact who can add the extension calculator to your workspace.

Update: Connector to Workday Adaptive Planning updated
With this update, Workiva offers two authentication methods (Basic and JWT Bearer Grant (Workday Credentials)).
Update: GroundRunner host configuration change
The Platform auth host values for GroundRunners have changed for North America, Europe, and APAC.
Update: NetSuite Connector SOAP endpoint updated to version 2025.2
The NetSuite Connector's SOAP endpoint has been updated from 2024.2 to 2025.2.
Update: PowerBI connector authentication change
Microsoft has changed how user delegation based on OAuth works in the PowerBI connector; it is now mandating MFA.

New: Ability to remove all links
You can now remove all source and destination links from a document—or from selected sections—with a single action.

New: Bulk Replace
Bulk Replace lets you find and replace multiple instances of a word or phrase across your Workiva Documents, Spreadsheets, and Presentations in a single click.
Changed: Consolidation of manual and linked placeholders
When a document includes both a locally created placeholder and a linked placeholder with the same name, they now merge automatically into one unified placeholder.

Updated: Improved Resource Handling and Reporting
Scripts that exceed system limits now gracefully terminate and display the reason for termination in the logs.
New: Support added for AL2023 with Python 3.9 and 3.13
Scripting has been upgraded to run on Amazon Linux 2023 (AL2023), allowing Python versions to receive automatic patches and updates.
New: Support added for Python 3.13
Workiva Scripting now supports Python 3.13, ensuring you can begin migrating scripts ahead of Python 3.9 end of life in October 2025.

New: Doc Health Warning when Formula version is outdated
We have added a warning in Doc Health when the formula version is less than the head formula version.

New: Assess readiness for IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards
To prepare to report using IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, you can supplement your workspace with assessment templates and gap assessment files.
New: Explore and assess readiness for Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards
From Sustainability Explorer, you can now include the content of the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) from the Australian Accounting Standards Board.
New: "Explore draft" checklist for California Senate Bill 261
You can now include the draft checklist from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to disclose climate-related financial risks in compliance with SB 261.
New: Return version at which Explorer content is deprecated from Query
Queries that use Sustainability Explorer as a source can now include a "Deprecated at version" field.

Changed: Duplicate key issues are now condensed into one issue
Duplicate key issues are now condensed into one issue, with the description containing the number of records impacted.
