Browser cache stores temporary website files locally to help pages load faster. Occasionally, outdated or corrupted cached files can cause issues within Workiva, especially when parts of the interface fail to load or respond correctly.
Clearing the browser cache for a single Workiva tab can help resolve client-side display and loading issues without affecting other websites or deleting browser history.
When to clear browser cache
You may want to clear browser cache if you experience issues such as:
- Buttons not responding
- Panels or menus failing to open
- Pages stuck loading
- Incorrect or incomplete rendering
- Missing interface elements
- Unexpected behavior in the browser interface

- Leave the Developer Tools panel open.
- In the browser toolbar, right-click the refresh button next to the address bar.
