Note: Workiva Calendars and Calendar-related features (such as using business days in processes) are currently only available in some of our Financial Reporting and Financial Services solutions.
Duplicate a calendar
Users with Owner permissions can duplicate the calendars that they own. See Edit calendar settings or permissions to learn more about permissions.
Note: You can’t duplicate subscription calendars.
To duplicate a calendar:
- Click Calendar to go to the Calendars experience.
- In the Calendars experience, click the settings icon next to your desired calendar.
- In the Calendar details section, click Duplicate calendar.
Except for the calendar name, the duplicated calendar will have the same details and permissions as the original.
Export a calendar
Note: You can’t export subscription calendars.
To export a calendar:
- Click Calendar to go to the Calendars experience.
- In the Calendars experience, click the settings icon next to your desired calendar.
- In the Calendar details section, click Export calendar.
You’ll now be able to open the exported calendar file for your needs.
Delete a calendar
Users with Owner permissions can delete the calendars that they own. See Edit calendar settings or permissions to learn more about permissions.
Note: To remove Workiva subscription calendars, see Unsubscribe from a calendar.
To delete a calendar:
- Click Calendar to go to the Calendars experience.
- In the Calendars experience, click the settings icon next to your desired calendar.
- In the Delete calendar section, click Delete.
- Deleted calendars can’t be recovered. Confirm that you want to delete the calendar by clicking Delete.
The calendar and its events will now be deleted for all users.
Unsubscribe from a calendar
For Workiva subscription calendars, users with Owner permissions can unsubscribe from the original external calendar. See Edit calendar settings or permissions to learn more about permissions.
To unsubscribe from a calendar:
- Click Calendar to go to the Calendars experience.
- In the Calendars experience, click the settings icon next to your desired subscription calendar.
- In the Unsubscribe from calendar section, click Unsubscribe.
- Confirm that you want to unsubscribe from the original external calendar by clicking Unsubscribe. The original calendar won’t be affected.
The subscription calendar and its events will now be removed for all users.
