One of the things your auditor will likely ask for is a list of the taxonomy elements used in your report along with certain key information related to different elements.
Instead of having you create this list manually, you can download it directly from the ParsePort Platform. This document is called a fact list, and you can use it internally for analysis or send it to the auditors for review.
What is a fact list?
A fact list is a list of every taxonomy element used in your report along with information like label name, taxonomy name, unit, value, balance, period type, item type, decimals, scale, and the beginning / end of the period.
The fact list includes the list of all elements used in your financial statements , including the extensions, as well as the elements used to tag your Notes.
How to download a fact list?
Log in to the ParsePort Platform (platform.live.parseport.com)
Import file(s) - either your report (PDF/Epub) and the Excel template, or an already converted ESEF package (zip-file)
Go to the Facts tab, where you will find the list of all the elements used in your report. Click on the Download icon (image) to download an Excel file containing this fact list.
Note: The Facts tab only shows the first 50 elements by default, but you can adjust the numbers of rows shown by using the dropdown list. The downloaded Excel file will automatically include the full list of elements.
