If you collect metric values from connected source files, Sustainability Program automatically pulls the source value until the metric value or its task is Complete, and then retains the value as of its completion. To help identify completed metric values that differ from their connected source values — such as based on edits to the source file — you can run a health check from the Program.
Tip: From a source file, you can also view when a connected source value differs from its completed metric value from the Sustainability panel. For additional alerting, a Program Owner can also enable email notifications for Program Owners and Task Owners from Program settings.
Run health check
To inspect your Program for completed metric values with changed source values:
- From the outline, select Program overview.
- In Program year, select the reporting year of the values to check.
- In Health, click Run health check.
Note: The results in Health reflect the most recent health check for the selected Program year. To refresh the results — such as to reflect new or resolved issues — run another health check.
Resolve changed source values
If the health check returns a completed metric value with a changed source, choose whether to update the metric with the new source value.
Tip: From a source file, you can review details of a source value's change — including who made the edit, and when — from the History panel.
To update the metric with the new value, either:
- Reset the value or its task from the metric, then choose whether to complete the value or resend its task.
- Reopen the task from the Tasks panel of the connected source file, then choose whether to complete it on behalf of the assignee.
