These Connected Learning Paths were created to help you learn how to use the Data Management Suite to connect to third party applications beyond Workiva's prebuilt Premium Connectors. You can achieve this by leveraging the HTTP Request Connector Commands to interact with REST APIs. While we'll demonstrate this using the Workiva API, the principles and process can be applied to connect with various other system APIs.
As you go through the paths, the lessons will increase in complexity, teaching you new concepts as you go along. These paths build off of each other so it's recommended to do them in the order outlined below. Refer to the prerequisites of each path to get an understanding of which paths need to be completed before jumping ahead.
Note: Although this is labeled as HTTP Connector, HTTPS (Secure HTTP) is supported (and recommended).
