This article is for:
- CDP Questionnaire Owners
Note: The 2025 CDP submission window closed November 19; the 2026 window opens the week of June 15. You can continue to review your 2025 responses, but not update them or your submission.
As you craft responses to your CDP questionnaire, a Questionnaire Owner can update the questions within your CDP submission directly from your Sustainability Reporting workspace. You can then finalize your submission as necessary directly through the CDP portal, such as to upload attachments or respond to requesting members.
Update CDP submission with questionnaire responses
From your CDP questionnaire, a Questionnaire Owner can update your CDP submission to overwrite responses in the CDP portal with the corresponding responses saved in the questionnaire.
Note: As you enter responses in the questionnaire, other responses may no longer apply and display a lock ; these responses may not appear in your CDP submission.
- From the questionnaire, open Overview, then click Update CDP submission.
- Choose the responses to update in your submission.
- To update all questions that have a response in your questionnaire, select All responses.
- To update only specific responses, select their module or question.
- Click Update.
Upload attachments and respond to requesting members
Some questions within your questionnaire may require attachments or responses for requesting members. Respond to these questions — as applicable to your questionnaire — directly through the CDP portal, not your Sustainability Reporting workspace.
These questions request attachments — such as company policies or public statements — as supporting material. To provide these attachments, upload them through the CDP portal, as applicable to your questionnaire.

These questions ask for responses based on these organizations, as Requesting members. Since your Requests list may change throughout the submission window, respond to these requesting member questions — as applicable to your questionnaire — directly through the CDP portal.
