Platform
Improved Groups Export format
We've enhanced the Groups Export report to improve readability and make the data easier to work with.
What’s new:
- Added a “Home Organization” column to identify if a user belongs to the requested organization or is external.
- Added an “Account Status” column to show if a user is active or not.
What’s changed:
- Removed the User GUID and email address to simplify the report.
- The export now includes Username (as the unique ID), Display Name, and Group Name.
Prototype API : Non-Workiva File API Support
A new suite of endpoints have been released to Prototype that enable both import and export use cases for non-Workiva file types (such as PDF, PNG, CSV, …) or what Workiva calls "Supporting Documents". If these file types are present at the target point of that request, they will now be represented when a GET FILES API call is made. The API also provides Permissions support for these file types.
Real-time updates to intra-document subcell destination links
Intra-document subcell destination links can now update automatically in real time as changes are made to their source links, updating ahead of source links being published. This brings them into alignment with our existing intra-document destination links functionality, ensuring a more seamless editing experience. With this enhancement, you’ll benefit from instant visibility into changes, making document management less stressful.
If you're not seeing changes to an existing source link instantly reflected in its subcell destination, it’s likely because the source link hasn't been published yet. To fix this, publish the source links; with the new functionality, once a link is published, all associated sub-cell destination links will start updating automatically in real time, even before future edits are published.

Structured Content Management
Sharing smart links with user groups
We're excited to announce an enhancement to cross-workspace smart link sharing designed to help your processes scale. Now you can choose to share your smart links with workspace user groups in addition to individual users. When you search for recipients (either by workspace or user group) and select them, all members of the selected user group(s) will have the ability to add the shared smart links to their library.
Note: This feature is currently only available to our customers in APAC, but will be available to all customers in early May.
