XBRL Icons

In this article, you’ll learn about XBRL icons in Workiva and what they mean. Icons are grouped in tables by related topics and actions.

Tagging and review

Icon	Icon Name	Description
	Create Fact	Add a new XBRL tag to your document.
	Attributes	Add a date, extension, unit or other attribute.
	Locate	Opens the Locate XBRL panel to the right.
	Generate XBRL	Full generation, current section or by section.
	XBRL Review	Click to create an XBRL review.
	Fact Details	Opens the Fact Details panel to the right.
	Extension Concepts	Custom tag if appropriate tag is not in taxonomy.
	Deprecated	Item no longer recommended for use.
	XBRL Outline	Shows the structure of XBRL tagging.
	XBRL Validation	Performs syntactical and other compliance checks.
	Disconnected XBRL	XBRL tag separated from content.
	Abstract	Use element to group other elements.
	Axis	Differentiates classification of XBRL facts.
	Domain	Parameters for possibilities in a group.
	Members	An element within a domain.
	Concept	A specific XBRL taxonomy element.
	Copy Fact	Duplicate an XBRL fact.
	Paste Fact	Add a copied fact to another location.
	Label Reference	Create a fact label reference to the outline.
	Reconnect	Connect disconnected XBRL to a fact.
	XBRL Blacklines	Opens XBRL blacklines panel.

	Taxonomy Analyzer	Open the Taxonomy Analyzer in a new tab
	Browse Taxonomy	Locate a concept by browsing by taxonomy section.
	Search Taxonomy	Locate a concept by searching using a keyword or phrase.
	Bookmarked Concepts	. Shows a list of concepts that have been bookmarked for review or consideration.
