Org Security Admins can enable and set up a custom landing page for your organization to display a message after users sign in to Workiva. This is helpful when you want to display important information before someone starts using the platform, such as a privacy policy or notice to users. After you enable the custom landing page, you can update it at any time.
You can enter basic text or use any valid markdown for additional formatting, such as headings, bold, links, and more. For additional details on markdown formatting, see Basic Markdown Syntax .
Enable a custom landing page
To enable a custom landing page for your organization:
- In the top right, click the user icon and select Organization Admin from the Admin dropdown.
- Choose Security from the left-hand menu and select the Authentication tab.
- Click Custom Landing and toggle on the Enable landing page setting.
- Enter details for the message you want to display in the Content text box. As you enter details, you’ll see a preview on the right.
- After you’ve entered and previewed your landing page details, click Save Changes.
Users in your organization will see the message every time they sign in to Workiva.
Update a landing page
You can make updates to a landing page as needed. Users in your organization will see the updated landing page the next time they sign in. To make changes to your landing page:
- From Organization Admin, go to Security and select the Authentication tab.
- Click Custom Landing.
- Enter and preview your changes in the text box.
- Click Save Changes.
Turn off custom landing page
If you no longer need to display a message to users at sign in, you can turn off the custom landing page.
- From Organization Admin, go to Security and select the Authentication tab.
- Click Custom Landing.
- Toggle off the Enable landing page setting.
- Click Save Changes to finish.
Note: When you disable the custom landing page, it keeps the content you’ve entered, but you can no longer edit it.
