Make changes to a task’s information even after the task has been created. You can edit your requests for documentation, reviews, approvals, or any other tasks within your file. If you are the Owner of the task, you can also delete the task if necessary.
Edit a task
You may find that you need to change or add an assignee, due date, or other task-related information.
To edit a task:
- Select the task in the Tasks panel.
- Click Edit from the dropdown menu to edit the details.
- When you're done editing, click Update to save your changes.
Delete a task
If you are the Owner of a task, you can also delete tasks from your file.
To delete a task:
- Select the task in the Tasks panel.
- Click Delete from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you'd like to delete the task.
The task is removed from the assignee's and approver's list. If there are multiple assignees, the task will be removed from everyone’s list of tasks.
