Deprecate extension concepts
Deprecate an extension concept when it should no longer be used. Deprecating a concept adds the next to the extension name so others know it is no longer meant to be used. If a concept was deprecated by mistake, you can undeprecate it to continue using it.
- 1
- Click Attributes on the XBRL toolbar then choose Extension Concepts.
- 2
- Click the drop-down menu for the extension concept and select Deprecate. If a fact is still using a deprecated extension concept, it turns gray in Fact Details and the Deprecated symbol appears next to it.
To undeprecate an extension concept, click on the extension in the Fact Details panel. In the Concept Selector dialog box, use the dropdown menu for that extension concept and select Undeprecate.
