Use Locate XBRL to find where concepts, dates, or units are used in your document.
Locate concepts
There are two ways to locate a concept in your document -- through the Locate XBRL panel and from the XBRL outline.
Use Locate XBRL
Locate XBRL lets you find where any concept is used in your document, including deprecated and new concepts.

- Open the document and make sure Show XBRL is on.

- Choose an XBRL profile if one is not already applied.

- Open the Locate XBRL panel on the right.

- Click Concept Search to expand the Concept Selector.

- Enter the concept name or key words in the search field to find a specific concept.

- In the Concept Selector, use the following filter options to narrow the results:
- Concept Type
- Period
- Data Type
- Section
- Deprecated
- New

- Select the concept you would like to find within the document and select Locate.

- Use the list within the Locate XBRL panel to jump directly to the location of the chosen concept in the document or XBRL outline.
Use Locate from the XBRL Outline

- Right-click the concept in the XBRL outline

- Click Locate Concept.
Locate dates
Locate XBRL lets you find where any date or date range is used in your document.

- Open the document and make sure Show XBRL is on.

- Choose an XBRL profile if one is not already applied.

- Open the Locate XBRL panel on the right.
- 4
- Click the XBRL Locate Dates tab.

- Select a date in the search field to find that specific date or that date within a date range and press Enter to update the list of results.
For example, if you search for 06/30/2024, the list of results will include both the individual date and any date ranges that include that date.

- Use the Type and Period filter options to narrow the results.

- Click a result to jump to that location in the document.

- To clear results, remove dates in the search field and set all filters to ALL.
Locate units
Locate XBRL lets you find where any unit is used in your document. While you can enter a unit name, such as USD, in the search field to show only those units, you can also filter the results to make finding a specific unit easier.

- Open the document and make sure Show XBRL is on.

- Choose an XBRL profile if one is not already applied.

- Open the Locate XBRL panel on the right.

- Click XBRL Locate Units to show all units in your document.

- Use the Search field to locate a specific Unit.

- Use the Type and Source filter options to narrow the results.

- Click a result to jump to that location in the document.

- To clear results, remove text in the search field and set filters to ALL.
