When you are ready to share your slides, you can present them or export them for viewing. You can present from the active slide or from the beginning of the presentation. You can also export a presentation as a PDF or PowerPoint file, or print it.
Present your slides
To present your slides:
- Click Present in the File, Data, View, or Review toolbar to begin from the active slide.
- To present from the first slide, click the arrow below Present and select Present from beginning slide.
Any changes made by another author during a presentation automatically appear while you present. This is useful for last-minute updates.
To present a static version instead, present from a revision in the History panel.
To move through your slides, use the arrow keys on your keyboard or click the displayed slide. Press Esc to exit the presentation.
Export your slides as a PDF
To export a presentation as a PDF:
- Click Save As on the File tab and choose PDF.
- Choose whether to export the Entire Document, Current Section, or Select Sections.
- Under Advanced, choose any additional options.
- Click Export.
Export your slides as PowerPoint
To export a presentation as a PowerPoint file (.pptx):
- Click Save As on the File tab and choose PPTX.
- Choose any additional options, such as including all layouts, embedding fonts, or reducing image resolution.
- Export the file.
The exported file downloads to your computer.
Print your presentation
To print a presentation:
- Go to the File tab and select Print .
- Choose the sections you want to print.
- Select any Advanced options.
- Click Print.
This opens Print Options, where you can make final print setting changes and choose additional advanced options.
