A recent release to the Workiva Platform included improvements to the following products and features: 

Wdata

"Wdesk" has been renamed to Workiva in the main navigation panel

Wdata

"Wdesk" has been renamed to Workiva in the main navigation panel

When working in Wdata, the link that returns you to the main platform is now called Workiva instead of Wdesk. This small change simply aligns Wdata's branding with the rest of the platform.

Custom field values checkbox added to copy settings

A custom field values checkbox has been added to the copy settings which will allow you to optionally include custom field values for copy, import, and export.

Workspaces

Now available: Custom field groups

Custom field groups are used to sort, organize, and structure the custom fields in your workspace. By creating fit-for-purpose field groups, you can easily manage and modify multiple custom fields at once. Additionally, custom field groups can reduce visual and operational clutter by ensuring each file in your workspace only displays the specific fields necessary for that work.

Note: This feature, along with custom fields, are only available as part of an Early Adopter Program. For anyone already using custom fields, your existing work will not be impacted. You can begin to create custom groups and you can reorganize your existing fields, as needed.
