From Sustainability Explorer, you can assess your company's readiness to disclose factors using new content from frameworks or questionnaires. To customize these assessments, Workspace Owners can create and manage tags for Readiness Assessments to help categorize their disclosures, content, or data with additional metadata.

Note: Only Workspace Owners can create and manage assessments tags, which are available for all Readiness Assessments in the workspace.

For example, you can use tags to indicate whether:

• Data is confidential or publicly-available
• Content is a voluntary or mandatory disclosure, or only additional context
• Disclosures are known strategic gaps or already reported — and if reported, where

Note: Currently, Readiness Assessments support only the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

Create tags for Readiness Assessments

Note: When you create an assessment tag, it's available for all assessments in the workspace — not just the one you add it from.

To add a tag for use with Readiness Assessments:

1. From Sustainability Explorer, open an assessment from Readiness.
2. From step 3. Make decisions, click Manage assessment tags sell.
   
3. Click Add tag.
   
4. Enter a unique name to help identify the context or intent of the tag.
   
5. Enter each possible value for the tag.
6. Click Save and Close.

Manage assessment tags on disclosures

From step 3. Make decisions of a Readiness Assessment, you can apply or remove the selected disclosure's tags from the Disclosure details settings panel.

• To apply a tag to a disclosure, select its value from Assessment tags in Data relevance.
  
• To remove a tag value, click its X. 
  

Edit an assessment tag

You can manage a tag's name and values as necessary, such as to clarify its intent or offer additional options.

Note: When you edit an assessment tag, you update it across all assessments in the workspace — not just the one you edit it from.

1. From Sustainability Explorer, open an assessment from Readiness.
2. From step 3. Make decisions, click Manage assessment tags.
3. From the tag's menu, select Update tag.
   
4. Edit the tag's name or values as necessary.
   
   
   • To change a value's name, select Rename from its menu, and enter its new name.
   • To remove a value, select Archive from its menu.
   • To add a new value, click Add tag value, and enter its name.
5. Click Save and — if you archived a value — Archive.
6. Click Close.

Remove assessment tags from the workspace

If you no longer need a tag for your Readiness Assessments, archive it from the workspace.

Note: When you archive an assessment tag, you remove it from all assessments in the workspace — not just the one you archive it from.

1. From Sustainability Explorer, open an assessment from Readiness.
2. From step 3. Make decisions, click Manage assessment tags.
3. From the tag's menu, select Archive tag.
4. Click Save and Close.
