Manage Connections and Manage Runners checkboxes have moved
We've moved the Manage Connections and Manage Runners checkboxes to the Access section of the Organization Settings screen. Previously, these were only accessible when editing user groups on the Groups tab.
This change allows you to grant access to connections and runners at the same time that you set up other group-level permissions, such as the ability to edit or execute individual chains. Only a Chain Security Admin can enable these settings for a user group.
The Manage Connections checkbox grants the ability to:
- Manage all connections in a workspace.
- Access the Workspace Settings button at the top of the main navigation panel on the left side.
- Create and manage permissions for a connection just as the Chain Owner can.
- Edit and delete existing connections.
The Manage Runners checkbox grants the ability to:
- Manage all runners in a workspace.
- Access the Workspace Settings button at the top of the main navigation panel on the left side.
- Install and configure new runners just as the Chain Owner can.
- Edit and delete existing runners.
Please note that these abilities will only allow members of the user group to edit settings in their current workspace. To edit settings in another workspace, they must log into it.

Updated authentication for the Trintech connector
Trintech has updated their authentication method to use a gateway URL instead of a subscription key, and these changes are now available through the Trintech Connector setup screen. We recommend updating these connection settings before running the connector again.

Bugs
- STUD-2829: We fixed an issue with the Sage Intacct connector where the final page of a custom report would trigger an error.
- STUD-2523: When creating a template from an existing chain, certain templates did not work correctly if they contained non-standard nodes such as command groups or dynamic variables. These templates should now function identically to the source chain.
- STUD-2403: While working with the Tabular Transformation bizapp, we discovered an issue where non-required number fields could not be left blank. Instead, these fields defaulted to a 0 value. We've updated these fields so that they can now be left completely blank.
- STUD-2376: When a skip condition is included as part of a command group, the final node in the group was occasionally marked as "failed" even though prior iterations hadn't completed. This has been fixed.
- STUD-2247: When enabling a connection for use in a specific environment from the Workspace Settings screen, we discovered the Select All button would become "stuck" when repeatedly toggled. This button will now select and deselect all environments as intended.
- STUD-2238: We fixed an issue where changes made to connections weren't being sent to the Chains Audit Log.
- STUD-559: We fixed an issue that caused some users to receive a "Stack too deep" error when publishing chains.
Workspaces
Managing workspaces with multiple solutions
You are now able to select multiple solutions when creating a workspace, or when adding solutions to an existing workspace using the dropdown menu. This new feature is available to any user that can create a workspace, including Org Workspace Admins and Workspace Owners. Org Workspace Admins can also remove solutions from an existing workspace. Please note that removing solutions from a workspace may disable features and roles that are not supported by the remaining solution(s).
ESG
Import and export CDP questionnaires
You can now Import from the CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) dashboard widget to Home in order to curate responses for CDP within Workiva's ESG solution. This widget allows you to create spreadsheets based on questionnaires that have been downloaded from CDP as Microsoft Excel files.
As you enter responses in this spreadsheet, you can view guidance from CDP and any ESG Program metrics connected to related CDP content from the CDP Questionnaire panel. Once you collect all applicable sections of the spreadsheet, you can then export the responses as an Excel file to submit through the CDP Online Response System (ORS).
