Incoming connections
A sheet's owner can connect a sheet to only queries, sheets, and reports they have permission to view.
If you collaborate on the spreadsheet with others, their access to its connections depends on their permissions to the sheet and query.

Outgoing connections
A source sheet's owner can connect it to a Wdata table that they have permissions to edit. When connecting a sheet to a table, its data appears on the table as a connected dataset which you can refresh from the table or spreadsheet.
