is there a way to adjust the x-axis scale on a chart to first of each month?

Without knowing the underlying data, I'm assuming that there is a column for each individual day in the data table, and that the x axis interval is set to "Auto". In this case, there's no way to force the x axis interval to land on the first of each month. I will submit a request to our product team for their consideration and you will keep you updated.
