Filters in a Spreadsheet Template

Is it possible to add filters to a spreadsheet template and have those filters carry over to the spreadsheets created from that template? I've tried to do this myself and the filters did not carry over to the newly created spreadsheet.  While it isn't too much work to add a filter on the new spreadsheet, it's 5 tabs that will need filters added each quarter and it would be nice if this was something that carried over from the template.

    Thanks for giving this a go and for reaching out with your findings! At this time, there isn't a way to carry over filters to the spreadsheets created from the template. We have passed this information along to our Product Team for them to review and will update you if anything changes.
