Can cover page items be tagged in a non-printing section?
已回覆Additionally, are all of these facts required to be tagged on the cover page itself? Or can we tag in the non-print section? Management and I are struggling with the change in format once we tag the cells of a table.

Thanks for the question. I did a little digging with our team to confirm, and essentially all items that can be tagged on the cover page need to be. There are some items listed on your cover page that will actually be tagged in your DEI section, which is likely a non-printing section.
On the following Help article, there is a tabular listing per form type of what is required to be tagged and where. https://support.workiva.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035647972-Tag-Cover-Pages-with-iXBRL. On the snipped image below, essentially if its a required tag and it states "Cover" under the column Location, then that tag is required to be tagged on the cover page. And conversely, if it says "DEI", it can can/should be tagged on the DEI.
That same article above also provides some guidance on how to go about formatting the cover to tag it accordingly under the new requirements. I hope that helps explain a little better. I'm noticing that if you have information in a table and you link it/ tag it with XBRL on the cover page it appears to be right aligned. Once I turn off XBRL it is center aligned. What will the appearance be on the SEC website in iXBRL?
Our management team prefers that the format of the document be consistent with how it's previously appeared/matches our previous filings.

One way to address this is you can turn the XBRL review display to 'Off' (see image below), which will cause the values in your document to appear as they would in EDGAR rendering. So that would be a way to confirm you have them aligned appropriately outside of the XBRL world. 
You can also preview the EDGAR document under File > Preview > EDGAR. I believe the EDGAR preview is an accurate representation of how the document will appear on the SEC website, except for the iXBRL indicators which will be layered on top. To see a preview of the iXBRL layering as it will appear on the SEC website, you would need to generate iXBRL and then select 'SEC XBRL viewer'

So many question - apologies if this is answered elsewhere. Am I required to have the two-digit state country code? We typically spell out "Missouri" and would prefer to keep it this way if at all possible. 0

No worries, there are certainly a wealth of questions out there in the wake of this new ruling :)
To answer, this particular tag is a transformation tag, so when you tag it as Missouri, it will transform to MO in the viewer upon generation, so you are able to spell out as you want which will be satisfactory for the tags requirement.
