Once key management is enabled for your organization, you can add an encryption key. 這也稱為自帶金鑰(BYOK)。產生金鑰選項可讓您透過Wdesk平台產生金鑰,該金鑰將每年自動輪換。

Before you add a key
Follow these steps before you add a key:
Add an encryption key

To add an encryption key:
- 在OrganizationAdmin中,按一下左側選單中的Security。
- 按一下KeyManagement索引標籤。
- Click Generate a key in the middle of the screen
- Check the box to verify that you understand this action can't be undone
- 按一下綠色的GenerateKey按鈕即可完成產生
Active key status
您會看到「使用中」狀態指示器,顯示鍵目前正在使用中。After you add your encryption key, files from that point forward will use the key. 之前建立的任何檔案將繼續使用預設的Workiva加密。

Rotating a key
Under the Rotate Key drop-down, you have two options:
- Upload new key - This enables you to upload your own key
- Generate new key - This generates a new automated key through Wdesk
Note: Key Generation does not have the option to remove or restore the key.
Upload new key
- Select Rotate Key in the bottom right corner of your screen

Click Upload new key

Select Browse to choose an encryption key file
from your computer
- Click the green Rotate Key button in the bottom right corner to activate the new key
Generate new key
- Select Rotate Key in the bottom right corner of your screen

- Click the green Generate Key button to complete the generation
