Copy a Control
已计划I would like to be able to make a copy certain controls so that I can create parent child relationships. Each child would be an exact duplicate of the copied control. but would relate to a difference functional group so that each group can be tested separately. I don't want to manually retype 172 controls. Any way to copy existing controls and the change only a few fields?

Have you contacted your CSM to find out if they run a data import for you. Wondering if you copy the data in Excel if it can imported.

Thanks for the response. Yes I know I can work with the CSM to do it. I don't want to have to wait for the CSM to do it each time I need a copy of a control or a set of controls. Seems like this should be something that users should be able to manage themselves. It becomes a bottle neck when managing testing processes.

Donna is correct here, you CSM could perform a data import would possibly work for a large number of controls you would want copied. Otherwise at this time we do not have a direct way in the Database to copy control/data record and you would need to manually create the copied controls.

Just wanted to keep you apprised that the ability to copy a control is now on the product roadmap and with any luck will be here in 2021. We'll keep you updated as we get a more definite timeline, but wanted to share the good news.
