Upcoming Changes to your SOX Test Form Experience!
GeplandWe are pleased to inform you that we are focusing our efforts over the next several months towards improving our SOX Test Form experience. Our two primary areas of focus will be increasing performance, and improving the look and feel of our test form experience. These changes will emphasize enriching our forms performance and flow, as well as adding in additional functionality and enhancements that we have heard as feedback from customers like you. Our roadmap for improving the SOX Test Form experience will take place over the next 12 months plus. I would like to take some time to highlight to you some more recent changes you can expect to see over the next few months.
More Performant Page Navigation & Outline
Having your pages load quickly means more time for you to do the work you need to do. With our new Form Outline, not only will you be able to more easily see and navigate to the parts of your form you need, but your phases will also load faster.
More Phase Specific Data Viewable to the User
We know that data from across your test form is important to you, and the easier it is to see that information the better. With this change you will see more data from identifiable phases on your Overview Phase, so that you can, at a glance, get the information that’s important to you.
Open your Excel Evidence Files Online with Office 365
Users can now open Excel Evidence files in lieu of the Evidence Viewer so they can view and edit their evidence during testing in the SOX and Audit experience. Users with an Office 365 license can open and edit their Office Evidence files in Office Online and all changes sync to Wdesk effortlessly.
Manage your Sample Files & Access your Additional Supporting Files from Inside the Evidence Viewer
Manage your Files from Inside the Evidence Viewer
You no longer have to leave your evidence experience to rename, delete, or add additional files to your samples. With this change users will be able to do all attachment management from the left hand panel without navigating in and out of the Evidence Viewer in their SOX and Audit experience. This will save you time and decrease performance impacts.
Access your Supporting Files from Inside the Evidence Viewer
Sometimes you may want to access additional documentation while in your sample files when completing your Evidence Testing in your SOX or Audit experience. Soon non-sample files will be supported inside the Evidence Viewer experience for you to markup, reference and view in both experiences.
These are just a few of the enhancements you can expect to see to the SOX experience over the next year. We are excited to bring you more updates on future enhancements as we progress and look forward to your feedback. We will announce when Features are available, also feel free to reach out to your CSM and look for announcements on the Wdesk Community.

Hi Hoa Nguyen, thank you for your question. Currently in SOX you are able to view and markup population files in the evidence viewer. If your population files' markup does not save please contact support and they will submit a ticket to investigate. This is not intended functionality and it should work as you are expecting.
regarding the access to supporting files inside the evidence viewer, are i can open up the population files in the viewer but cannot markup. is this the current functionality? that you can't mark up population files? it will let you markup, but the markups don't get saved.
