Paragraph breaks when first ends exactly at bottom of a page, and second needs to start at top of next page
Is there a way to automate paragraph breaks so that when two of them break perfectly at the bottom of a page, the second paragraph doesn't skip the first line of the next page? At present, I manually delete the space, but if (when!) we amend anything earlier in document that forces the two paragraphs back on the same page, the space that needs to be there has disappeared.
Thank you

I would think that the widow orphan control would help prevent this from happening, but if you have that turned on then maybe it doesn't work with hard returns. Another suggestion would be set the paragraph properties to have 9pt spacing after each paragraph to mimic the spacing required for hard returns. Then the hard return wouldn't be necessary. The paragraph properties are helpful when using style guides but to make this change would require you delete all of the manual hard returns in your document.
