I'm a new customer and left a similar comment on not being able to use operators within ranges in something like XLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH. I left a comment there to confirm there are others who could use that. Similarly with this one, I was really surprised cells can't simply be unwrapped and that merging cells or expanding comments is a must. So many good use cases if this could be done.

is there any update on the unwrap option?

Yes, I also really need to have the unwrap text in cell feature available please.  Not having this feature available causes extra time to format excel pages when leaving notes.  Thank you.

Hi Angela! Welcome to the community 😊

There's not any substantial update to provide here. This feature request does remain on the roadmap to be done, but its not yet been earmarked for work. With any luck it'll find its way into the platform yet this year.

Thanks for your feedback here and we'll be sure to get you connected so you can stay apprised. Give us a holler if you have any questions. Keep the great ideas coming!

I am supporting that a cell-unwrap feature from excel would be great! This way, it is one less formatting change required when importing various spreadsheets.. Thanks.

    Hi Valerie!

At this time I don't have a new update but I do hope to have one soon. This enhancement is under review as part of our quarterly prioritization work and I am hopeful for good news. We'll let you know as soon as we hear back internally. In the meantime, I'll get you connected so you can stay apprised.

Thanks for reaching out and have a great day!

I am also supporting the cell-unwrap feature. I'm new to Wdesk and love it, but this is one feature that is needed to be able to format spreadsheets. Thanks!

I'll bump this thread again for the unwrap (expand into adjacent cells) feature. A client I've implemented Workiva for is asking for it

    Howdy, Christine!

Currently there's not an "unwrap" option for text in Spreadsheet cells, outside of a) merging, or b) expanding the cell width. The ability to unwrap, similar to in Excel, has also been requested here and I'm happy to pass along your interest in the is feature as well.

Regarding your second question, where are you seeing the option for Paragraph Properties greyed out at? In the right-hand panel, right-click, or toolbar? Or somewhere else?

Happy to help however I can. Let me know what questions you have for me. Thanks as always and chat soon!
