Can page breaks be inserted to workbooks or spreadsheets?
回答済みWhen I save the section as a pdf, I want two pages of information instead of the one. The easy solution would be to split the information into two sections. However, that would not be ideally functional.
Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the Community, Joseph!
Great question. I did a little digging and did find that with classic Workbooks, you can both set a print area for XLSX and PDF exports. More info on this can be found here on our Help site: https://success.workiva.com/help/workbooks/save-a-workbook.
Setting a print area as well as export to PDF are not yet available on Spreadsheets, but our Product Team is working on adding these same features there. I'll be sure to keep you updated here with any new changes there.
In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions on the above, or need anything else. Thanks, and looking forward to chatting with you further here in the Community!0I do see that, but it doesn't give me the functionality I'm looking for.
Ideally, I would be able to set up a print area with page breaks. When I save to PDF, the parameters used would create a document with two pages of information (or more).
As an example, consider the "Set Print Area" video in the link you provided. The video shows a balance sheet and the print area is set for the Assets alone. The user would then have to set the print area for Liabilities and Stockholders Equity as a separate export.
If a page break function existed, the user would be able to set the print area for the entire balance sheet and then size the pages so that Assets would be on page 1 and Liabilities/Stockholders Equity would be on page 2.
Does this provide a better view of my question? Format things like this are a little difficult to put into words.
Thanks for your help!0No worries, Joseph. That does make sense.
I see what you mean there, having to create different print area exports. I've definitely passed this along to our Product Team for further review. Thanks so much for the input and I'll be in touch with any news or additional questions.
Give me a holler if you need anything else. Cheers!0Good morning - curious if there may be an update here. Can you set a print area in Spreadsheets yet? Thanks!
0Hi Heather!
Thanks for the note. I did a quick check with our Product Team on this and at this time you are still unable to set the print area in a Spreadsheet, however, it is on their future roadmap to add this feature in. I don't have a timeline for you on when it will be available, but you can follow on our internal ticket here, as I've connected your request with our team: https://support.workiva.com/hc/en-us/requests.
In the meantime, give me a holler if you have any further questions or need anything else. Thanks again and have a super day!0Hi all!
As mentioned here, Print Area is now available in Spreadsheets. Thanks for your input and patience and holler with any questions. Cheers!
0Thanks. I see that "Print Area" is available. However, are page breaks available in spreadsheets? For example, when exporting a spreadsheet to PDF, if a spreadsheet section breaks into two pages, is there a way to place a page break? Similar to what we are able to do with tables in documents?
0Hi Alejandro!
Thanks for the question. Currently there's not a way to set the page breaks during this sort of export in Spreadsheets. We've shared this bit of feedback with our product team and will keep you apprised. Holler if you have any follow-ups for me. Cheers!
