Granular permissions needed at paragraph or sentence level within sections

Is there was a way to assign permissions at a lower level of detail than section or sub-section?  We have disclosures where three separate groups (example below with 1,2,3) own sentences within a paragraph and we do not want to break up the paragraph into separate sections or sub-sections. 

It would be helpful if we could highlight content within a section and apply permission group settings at a sentence or paragraph level.  

Other than linking a multi-sheet spreadsheet file with sentences and permissions to the disclosure document, is there a way to make this work?
