Hello! I’m Cass Netzley, the Technical Enablement Manager for the Product Enablement team at Workiva. Our team creates engaging learning content for everyone.

We’ve seen your feedback to include more hands-on activities, so I’m excited to announce that we are actively developing ways to add practical components to the learning experiences of our courses, curriculum paths, and certification programs! 

Did you know that “Learning by doing” has long been thought of as the best method for knowledge retention? The more hands-on the experience, the better users learn and retain the information. Practice is the type of learning with the second highest knowledge retention rate (75%). Our practical labs simulate real-world situations, allowing  you to learn through experience, and letting Workiva help build your skills and  level of knowledge, with the potential to gain certification as verification of what you’ve learned. We hope these labs on our platform will provide the connected experience you want, between learning and applying practical skills to modifying processes and increasing efficiencies for your business needs.
