PDF Export Certification Response reports with Approver Data

Since Workiva only ensures backups of data for the preceding 30 days per the latest SOC I report, we are needing to download the PDF versions of the certifications for our record keeping requirements.  When exporting the Certification Response reports, the Approver(s) signoff and date are not captured nor are any of their feedback to the submitted certification or exceptions.  This information is shown on online when viewing the report and it is shown in the .csv file when exported but not in the PDF.  For documentation and auditing purposes, a PDF version would be needed and not an editable .csv file format.   Is there a trick in getting this information to be included in the PDF file or is it something that is not present in the new Certifications solution yet?

    Hi Curt,

    Thanks for your question. You are correct and it sounds like you are familiar with where to provide the info. Today this functionality is not yet there but the good news is we are working on including those details in the PDF export and we're targeting the early in 2024 for that release. I'm happy to add your request on the backend and we'll keep you updated on progress there going forward. We'll also keep this post up-to-date too.

    This feature inches closer and closer to be available but it still being worked on. We still do plan on a Q1 release. I'll get you hooked up so you can be updated automatically. We'll also update here too. Thanks for chiming in! Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Actually, when I created the PDFs this month for the export documentation, it gave a pop-up window with selection options of what to include in the exported documents.  It now can export the Approver's name, date stamp, and their added comments.  And somehow, it will also provide ability to include ability to include in the PDF file any attachments that were included in the certification.   


    So it looks like it has been implemented.

    Curt Kuechler, the pop up is there however if you have multiple approvers and the final approver has nothing to accept or doesn't add any comments and only needs to click approve, they do not appear on the PDF and so we have to take an additional screen shot for each checklist to prove they have completed their approval.
