    Hi Monty!

Yes, an easy method would be to put to place your work in a workbook and link from there. That way you can update the numbers in your workbook and they will flow to each tag in your face statements.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thank you!

    Hi Tori,

    Thanks for your response!

However, I just wanted to understand if Balance sheet parentheticals are required by any guidance etc. or we can choose not to show parentheticals separately in our XBRL outline?

    Thanks in advance.

Every number is required to be tagged. Parenthetical are needed to be tagged to show the values within the line item description. Workiva does allow for sub cell links for those, so you can tag in the same section, but they will need to be shown in a separate parenthetical XBRL outline section.

    Hope this helps!

Hi Tori, thanks for your explanation above. I have question that is related to Monty's question so I wanted to add on here. We have a parenthetical tagged as us-gaap_CommonStockParOrStatedValuePerShare. It correctly shows in our outline under our "consolidated balance sheets (Parentheticals) section, however the tag and amount doesn't come through in the SEC viewer. The amount isn't in USD. Could that cause the tag & amount not to show in the SEC viewer here?

    Hi Valentina!

Are there any dimensions applied that are not in the outline?
