We are trying to better visualize and map out our Policies & Procedures and how they reference exact lines of the specific regulatory document that the policy references across our entire organization.
I have brought in both sets of documents into the Workiva platform (internal policies and external regulations.)
If our regulatory authority document says our board must appoint a committee to monitor internal controls in regulation #1231.
and our internal document #3123 claims we will establish an internal audit committee to monitor those same internal controls.
Is there a best practice on how to link the two sentences/paragraphs/requirements even though they do not match verbatim?
