Hello,

I'd like to request a new functionality in Documents to add background images to certain pages (for instance, cover pages).

    Hi Sofia!

    Great news, though we were just shy of the Q1 '22 estimate, I'm pleased to say that background images (and colors too) are now available in the Workiva Platform!

     
    You can access these new features from the Document or Section Properties interface. More info, see this Help article. Note that for SEC filings, background images are not available in EDGAR. There will be a Document Health Check message to catch this.

    Hi Sofia, this is a great idea! I went ahead and logged your idea. For further clarity, would it be beneficial for you and your team to be able to change the transparency of said background image? Anyone passing by is encouraged to vote up/comment on this idea!

    Quick update for you here, Sofia.

    The good news is that background images (and colors) are planned for release in Q1 2022, so keep your eyes peeled to Release Notes for that announcement. We'll also let you know here too. Thanks and have a great rest of your day!
