Permissions Needed to Send Reviews in NextGen

Hello,

 

We are implementing NextGen for Q3 and our process is to send reviews to our external auditors.  In using classic, the external auditors permission was always set at "viewer."  In using NextGen, can we remove their "viewer" permission and have them still receive, view and leave us comments on the earnings report?  We thought we saw a tip during amplify that indicated reviewers didn't need to have viewer permission to receive, view & leave comments on reviews sent.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Matt!

    First, excited to have you are taking a stab at next gen reviews!

    I am happy to confirm that sending a review in next gen doesn't require your reviewers to have permission to the file, so you can remove their "Viewer" permission for the file in question. Simply adding them as a review will give them access to the review you are sending, which isn't the live document but a review version of it. Their comments will flow back and forth, and you can choose to allow them to see the current comments or not.
