    Hi Rebecca!

Thanks for the questions. Happy to tackle these for ya.

At this time, reminders only go to the "assignee", but if the request is in a review state, technically the "assignee" is the approver. Currently there is no way to change that, but eventually we do plan to make the "Notify Others" field to be more akin to a "watcher" instead. There's no timeline for this release but its on our long-term roadmap. Regarding auto-reminders, we do have manual bulk reminders planned for release later this year. After that, our next item would be to tackle automation. I've connected your feedback here with our Product Team. You can follow along on your requests, here: https://support.workiva.com/hc/en-us/requests

In the meantime, let me know what questions you have or if you need anything else. Thanks again and have a great rest of your day!

    Hi Mike,

Thanks so much for the quick reply. The information you shared is very helpful. I'll keep a watch out for future updates.

    Thanks!

Would like to raise this similar issue.  When a request has an assignee and an approver, if the assignee completes his portion on September 5, and the request due date is September 30, the approver does not receive any notification until September 30, and that process runs overnight, so by the time they are able to respond, it is already past due.  Would like to see the approver receive a notification that they have a task as soon as the original assignee completes their portion.

In addition, as was stated in the original request, still have not seen any automation around reminders.

    Hello,

Following up on this thread. Will there be a future update on the notifications feature for requests? It would be ideal to be able to receive notifications once support is in "completed" status, so I know when to go ahead and check it and can give quick client feedback if anything needs further clarification.

    Thanks!

    Hi Hayley!

Welcome to the community, and thanks for chiming in.

I circled back on this suggestion and there's not been much change, though it does remain proposed with our product team for consideration. We will shortly be planning our Q3 2022 work and should this get picked up or earmarked for work, we'll definitely let you know. In the meantime, I've logged your feedback and will keep you apprised there too.

Thanks again and give me a holler if there are any questions.
