multiple test forms for the same control

Here is the scenario:
- One standard control (say CTRL-5) that is applicable to multiple legal entities (say 10 entities)
- we need to test the control for each legal entity and there are two test phases: Interim and Year-end i.e. total 20 test instances for the same control
When I try to setup test forms, I am able to create only one test form for each phase for this standard control.
Any ideas how to set up 20 test forms in Wdesk in the above scenario? Or any other way around?

This is interesting. We have some IT General Controls where many controls should feed into one main control. Can you expand on the benefits of this as opposed to just having the individual controls? For example, do the conclusions (or anything else) of the child control roll up to the parent? Does it streamline reporting?
I think it is a great concept but would love to hear some good use cases.

Great question. It took me a little digging to get an answer for you but I do have something for ya. Here goes.
For multiple test forms, in the past we have seen the legal entities created as child controls to the standard controls. For example CTRL-5 would act as the primary and then CTRL-5-LegalEntity1;CTRL-5-LegalEntity2;CTRL-5-LegalEntity3, etc. as child controls. Then you can create test forms for all the child controls.Does this make sense? Howdy!
No prob. Creating the child control is the same as creating a new control, but once it is created there should be a field on the form titled "Based On Control" where they can select the primary control. When the primary control is selected that is what makes it a child control.

Sounds like there may be potentially a solution here to our problem. Where can we find this field "Based On New Control" to create a child control? I couldn't spot it anywhere. If you can point us to it, we can experiment quickly. Thanks for your quick replies!
