Best practice for removing XBRL from a section
AnsweredWhat is the best practice for removing XBRL when moving a section in the document and subsequently deleting the section from the old location without creating disconnected tags or losing the existing tagging?

In next gen you are able to drag and drop sections within the outline to move the content to different locations throughout the document. Using this method, you would not need to remove XBRL and all existing tags will stay intact.
When destination links are created in new locations, the XBRL will be pushed to the new location automatically. If source links were used, create new source links, then copy and paste the XBRL to the new document location. Disconnected data will be created when the original source links are deleted.
