    Hi Donna!

I believe I can provide the answer for you.

To set up your test, first right-click on the field below 'Testing Information' and insert a test step. Then, from the same drop-down, you can choose Insert Attribute and then choose between Testable and Non-Testable.

Then, once applied, you can edit this attribute and include it in your testing (if testable).

Does that answer your question? If not, let me know and I'll be happy to help however I can.

Yes but the process is painfully slow. We are now using a template and having workiva upload.

    Hi Donna,

Sorry to hear about the pace of creating a SOX test. As you mention, having Workiva upload this will definitely expedite the process. Our Product Team is looking to improve the SOX testing experience on the whole. Thanks for your feedback and do let me know if you have any other questions.

Is there any way to copy over test steps to a new test form?  We added a new location so I created a new control and test form.  We have 10 test steps and ideally there would be a way to copy/import them from a different test form rather than retyping them all in.

    Hi Lauren!

Currently, in Wdesk, you cannot copy them. However, if you are using the same test steps and attributes in our new location as the old location, you are able to perform an import. If it is just one of them, then retyping is going to be the fastest way, at this time.

Let me know if you have questions on the above or need anything else. Thanks and have a great day!

You can export a test, then simply copy and paste the steps from the Excel form into the new test. That would be faster than typing all the steps over again.

Mike how do you import multiple test forms?

    Hi Jamie!

In this case, you would need this to be done by Workiva staff. To get started, you can reach out to your CSM to get an import template to add test forms in bulk. From there our team can coordinate with you to get these imported.
