Filing 20-F
AnsweredHi,
I have a very strange exhibit, in that it is a workiva document that is not be included in the 20-F filing, nor supplied to the SEC. I need to hyperlink it, so I have done to the workiva document (which seems fine). The trouble is that I have put it in the 20-F folder, which produces a yellow warning for the "Label" step of the filing wizard. I understand as the document is in the folder but not being included in the filing. It is not to be included. My question is: can I file with a Label warning? Should I located this document elsewhere in my workspace outline?
Thanks.

I guess it doesn't matter where the document is located, as the hyperlink is still working, and the document is not to be included in the filing. So the real question is can I file with a warning in the Label step?
0Hi Barbara,
I'm checking with our experts on this and should have an answer for you shortly!
0Hi Barbara,While you can still technically file with warnings, we do consider it best practice to resolve any warning labels or notifications. This is because out platform is set up to follow the SEC hyperlinking rules so any warning labels would indicate a deviation from those rules. For the exhibit that needs to be hyperlinked but is not included in the 20-F filing, I'm curious as to whether it already exists on the sec.gov website - if it does, then you can link to that which would alleviate the issue.0Please sign in to leave a comment.
