Decommissioned Controls still being available within the Test Form
When Controls are decommissioned in the SOX Workspace, they are still available within the Test Forms experience. In fact, you can even test the control without even realizing it is decommissioned. If a user attempts to create a test form for a control that is decommissioned, can there be a prompt that says, "control is decommissioned, do you still want to test?" or something similar? Also, can we maybe even filter out all decommissioned controls within the Test Form area if we desire? Currently, that option is not available. Or, can controls be "archived" so they won't show up in the Test Form area? Just looking for a way to filter these out, as we do not want to delete our history of controls.

This would also be very helpful within the new "Controls" experience. Being able to filter out all decommissioned controls would be very helpful.
0Hi Bill,
Thank you for this feedback! I've shared it with our product team, and we will keep you updated on any advancements.
Happy Friday!
0Bill Mickey, You can filter out decommissioned controls by using the "Audit Program" filter option in the new Controls experience. You just need to ensure that your decommissioned controls are not assigned to your current year SOX program (which is unfortunately sometimes the case), see my post here: https://support.workiva.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/15849716975252-Why-get-decommissioned-controls-a-current-year-SOX-program-assigned-
Your CSM may be help you with a quick check and data update, if necessary.
