Documents
Document markup sticky mode update
Sticky mode for tick marks is now enabled with a single click, allowing for quicker markup.
Document markup anchor update
Anchors are now visible any time you select a markup object. Previously, this functionality had to be enabled in the Markup toolbar via the Show Anchors button.
Anchors indicate which content a piece of markup is tethered to and can be adjusted by dragging the anchor to a different location. In text, markup anchors to a character. In tables, markup anchors to a cell. The markup moves with the character or cell it is anchored to.
Wdata
Oracle Essbase connector
We've made two updates to the Oracle Essbase connector in Chains.
- When uploading a file, natively supported filetypes will maintain their original file extension; unsupported or unknown filetypes will be changed to a .txt extension. Previously, all files were changed to the .txt format.
- The Upload Name field is no longer required in the command form.
Support for PATCH in HTTP Request BizApp
This update adds PATCH to the list of available commands offered through the Core Connectors > Http Request. The command can be used to change or update a resource and makes an HTTP PATCH request to the specified url.
Note: This command is nearly identical to PUT
Workiva Platform
Attachment Copy now available
You can now include attachments on file copy. This is the default when copying but can be unchecked if desired.
Enable Track Changes on locked and input mode sections
You can now enable Track Changes on sections with locked editing or input mode enabled.
This allows you to track changes on sheets with input mode enabled and prepare your section to be tracked before you unlock editing.
Integrated Automations now available
Integrated Automations are now available for all users. This feature allows you to define automated actions in your document, spreadsheet, or presentation that will respond to particular events. With our first pattern, document Owners can define automations based on outline label changes, which will automatically send an email to a list of specified users when a label is updated. More triggers and actions will be added to our Integration panel over time, enhancing options for configuring more powerful automations.
