Viewing Inline Fact Properties
Use the Review Display menu to see one specific property for all facts at once within the document. For example, you can select to display the period type for all facts instead of their values.
Selecting Review Display Properties
The Review Display menu lets you select which XBRL fact property to show in the document. To show a specific fact property, go to the XBRL tab and select an option from the Review Display menu.
This menu has eight different options:
-
Accuracy — Displays the decimal accuracy for the XBRL fact.
-
Balance — Indicates whether the fact has a Balance Type of Debit (D) or Credit (C), or no balance type (-).
-
Date/Date Range — Shows the Date/Date Range ID applied to the concept.
-
Reversed — Indicates whether the XBRL fact value sign is reversed. Cells that do not have a reversed fact appear blank.
-
Balance & Reversed — Displays the Balance Type of the concept and whether the XBRL fact source value sign is reversed.
-
Period Type — Shows whether the concept is using a Duration or an Instant date.
-
Unit — Shows the unit applied to the XBRL fact, such as GBP for the Pound Sterling.
-
Value — Shows the value of the XBRL fact. Value takes into account both number rounding and scaling.
After selecting a property, hover over a cell to highlight other cells that use the same property. For example, when Review Display is set to Balance, move the cursor over a Debit balance (D) cell to highlight other cells that use Debit balance concepts.
NOTE: If a value is too long, it will become truncated, but hovering over it will display a tooltip with the full information.
