Working with defaults
You can set workspace defaults for XBRL and filing. Typically, you’ll set defaults when you initially create and set up a workspace.
To set XBRL and filing defaults, the workspace needs to be set as a SEC/SEDAR Reporting solution. You need to be a Workspace Owner or Org Workspace Admin to set XBRL and filing defaults for a workspace.
XBRL defaults
When setting XBRL defaults In a workspace, the following fields are required.
- XBRL Namespace Prefix
- XBRL Namespace Identifier (URI)
To set XBRL defaults:

- Go to Workspace Settings by clicking Settings .

- Click XBRL.

- Enter details for XBRL defaults.

- Click Save Changes and confirm you’d like to save your changes.
Filing defaults
Filing defaults you set will automatically load for the filing. When setting filing defaults in a workspace, the following fields are required.
- Stock Exchange and Ticker Symbol
- Central Index Key (CIK)
- Accelerated Filer Status - required field.
To set filing defaults:

- Go to Workspace Settings by clicking Settings .

- Enter details for filing defaults.

- Click Save Changes and confirm you’d like to save your changes.
